Bringing the Christmas spirit to the tropics has become my favorite tradition. Although I miss my family , spending this time with friends and my loved ones in my favorite place on earth - is special. Surrounded by a community of people in the same situation, we support and care for each other, which is hard to understand until you live abroad far away from your family, culture, and traditions 🎄✨️🫎🙌🏼🎅

can’t wait to be back in Costa Rica with my favorite people, soaking up the sun, surfing, chasing waterfalls, eating all the fresh fruit, and being present.

I realized how little I actually posted about my time in Costa Rica, mostly because nobody’s on there phones there. It’s one of my FAVORITE things. Leaving my phone at home & jumping on the back of the moto with @morganthornsley to head to the beach for a sunset surf sesh. Some of my favorite memories haven’t been captured on camera but will forever engrained in my memory and soul💫

We're all about community! Giving back to our native people and the community where we operate is super important to us. We love taking our clients to visit local families for cold coconuts or a tasty traditional breakfast. And don't forget about enjoying a refreshing 🇨🇷-beer or lunch at a local restaurant! Un poco del último año de desarrollo en este nuevo sitio. Fueron meses con momentos muy difíciles pero también muy gratos. Como parte del proceso de certificación Ocean Friendly Business®️, impartimos esta visita práctica en @hotelflorblanca, donde dueños y encargados de mantenimiento de distintos negocios del pueblo aprendieron sobre la técnica de compostaje Takakura para manejar adecuadamente los residuos orgánicos que generan en sus cocinas. 🙌🏽🌱

As part of the Ocean Friendly Business®️ certification process, we had a hands-on visit at @hotelflorblanca where owners and maintenance staff from different businesses learned about the Takakura composting technique to properly manage the organic waste generated in their kitchens. 🙌🏽🌱
