Five years ago my old chum @derek.alan.wright sent me a beautiful painting inspired by my novel #ThisLittleDarkPlace all the way from Taiwan 🇹🇼. Tonight, packing my life into boxes I found this message on the back. Well, Derek, that moment has finally arrived. We move into our first house this week and your painting will be the first piece of art on the wall.

Being 30 is crazy.

This is an extremely mix feeling.
Coz when I’m being stupid, I have no reason to say “it’s okay, I’m still young” anymore.

It is next phase of the life, wish myself can do better on whatever is coming and enjoy the life even more.

Thank you for all the birthday wishes from friends and families.
I’m blessed to have so many amazing people around me and love me.

Let’s rock the 30’s!🤘🏻

How cool is this!? I told my old Taipei chum @derek.alan.wright I loved his art...next thing you know, he goes and produces a totally amazing, unique piece based on #thislittledarkplace! He’s sending it to me from Taipei so when it arrives I’ll upload some better quality pics (these are stills taken from an equally cool time-lapse video he made of him creating it)
