"I don't think God wanted us to be this different." My mom said this one time describing men and women and you know what Mom, that one stuck.

We are different though in so many ways. I'm learning that right now going through perimenopause. We are different. YIKES. Thank you JJ. I'm a bit much right now and have been for awhile.

BUT.... It's Father's day and you know what, the things I love about these men are not in are differences we have but how we are the same.

These men love or loved others more themselves not saying they do not nor did not take time to show love to themselves. These men saw and continue to see the benefit in working with others as we continue 'through this thing called life.' They want to be fully themselves, fully loved for who they are, but still okay with being challenged to grow through discipline knowing that it is only through love we speak to them.

Love all of you gentlemen today and every day after this one! Happy Father's Day! You are an amazing father.

Side note- this was fun going back through all my pics here on the socials!
