As a performer and a singer songwriter, playing live for an audience who came for the music is one of the most fulfilling experiences. Whether it’s with a full band or an acoustic guitar. 💜✨🎵 BIG shout out to Trisha @eagleconnectionphotography for capturing these photos of me and the band at the South Gaylord street fest last Saturday - we sure did have a lot of fun playing our original tunes for you. Coming up this Sunday I have a more intimate show at Swallow Hill (called “Songwriter Sessions” - ticket 🎫 link 🔗 in bio) where I will share the stage w/ two of my amazing songwriter friends @teresastorch and @davidgsmith_heydavemusic in an intimate setting and you can hear more behind the song type stories - just songwriters and acoustic guitars in a round. See you soon 💃

Film part 2

For my birthday back in March, I decided if I was gonna have a party, the best gift I could receive was to give space for me and my friends to share the music we love together. I called it listening hours, inspired by similar experiences at Japanese HiFi cafes. We set up some speakers and a record player and I gave everyone the assignment of coming with songs within two themes: 1) songs that move you, and 2) songs that scratch your brain. Everyone came prepared with their songs and completely blew me away with their choices. We laughed, we danced, we listened, and we shared an experience together that I don’t think I’ll ever forget. One of my favorite birthdays to date. I know this is 5 months late, but thanks to all my buds that came out and celebrated with me and shared songs and listened and helped me create an experience that made me feel even more connected to you all!

Hey everyone, our first original single Can’t Sleep at Night from our upcoming album (same name) is out now!

This one means a lot to us. As a band, we’re stepping into a bigger sound and really leaning into each other’s strengths. For the first time, all 7 of us brought our full talents to the project, and it shows.

You’ll still hear the pretty, quirky, and melancholy songs, just now mixed in with some bops. This single is a perfect glimpse of where we’re headed.

Inspired by early Arcade Fire, The Strokes, Death Cab for Cutie, and early Coldplay.

Hope you enjoy 🤍
