💫 For this transformation, I wanted a copper that felt soft, burnished and dimensional more suede than shiny penny. The result lives between ginger, apricot and warm auburn, with enough restraint to keep the finish sophisticated.

💫 I used @wellahair Pure Perfection, Wella’s new permanent color line formulated without ammonia or mineral oil. For me, this was a great canvas to explore what copper can look like when we focus less on intensity and more on tone, balance and finish.

💫 Amazing, Impactful , Empowering, Needed are all words I would use to describe the evening spent with @probeautydirect Textures Hair Art show! Being in the room with such amazing talent, it’s always awe inspiring to me.

💫 My career is starting to become full circle. I never thought of myself as someone who would be so revered in this industry in this way. I always knew I loved to do hair and to make women look and feel beautiful, but I never thought that so many people would look up to me and admire me in the way that they do. It can be overwhelming at times because I’m just a guy from old Indiana who just so happen to have a love for hair! But just like Dr. Seuss says ~ Oh the places you’ll go!

💫 I’ve finally realized that I’m truly living in my purpose. This is exactly what I’m meant to be doing in this season of my life. It still amazes me how many lives I get to touch helping people see the best version of themselves, all through the work of my own little two hands. 🥹

💫 Mommy, I know you’re proud of me and I’m so grateful God chose you to be my mom. I miss you so much and I pray that I make you happy.

A switch up just in time for the Fall season!

She said fall… I heard RICH. 🍂🤎 Chocolate depth. Caramel ribbons. Buttery pops around the face. Fall doesn’t always mean darker. You can very much be playful in that season you just have to be a bit more intentional with color placement!

She came in ready to switch up her look for this fall season. I kept her in the warm golden family with a base shift using koleston perfect. This gave her the warmth that keeps her complexion healthy looking. Sometimes Ash and cooler tones can make certain skin complexions fall flat or look gaunt.

This is another reason I love using @wellahair on my clients. I know that I’m going to get the results I need in the best and safest way possible!

Although my guest had been using black hair dye on her hair, she was still able to achieve at least a soft chocolate mocha tone that gave her just enough color to make her feel different. Dimension was the goal here.

I wanted brightness without sacrificing depth, so I kept the interior dimensional and let those lighter beige pieces do the talking.

I reached for Wella because the tones are consistent, customizable, and give me the control I need to keep my blondes & brunettes balanced. Not too warm, not too cool. ✨

Sometimes your just looking for a slight change when it comes to haircolor. Nothing too dramatic unless you like to pop out every now and then with an undercut like her!
