Dalia Jones you know that you need to stop leaving no crumbs for no one else in the house God, you outta be a shamed of yourself with all that carrying on and so forth! I am so grateful to be asked by @dorindaclarkcole Dorinda Clark-Cole to assist her with pulling together women musicians for SMAC!

Thank you Dr. Dorinda for this wonderful opportunity! When you thought things couldn’t get any better, by God’s grace things went so well the opening night of the conference, that she asked us to get the women together again. We did @doobiepowell Arrangement of Amazing Grace, and we made it our own.

I am so grateful to work with @mstrinatrine Trina Trine, @derestcraig Derest Craig FaggéTt and @trumpetladyt Syreeta Thompson to pull all of the ladies together to rehearse. It was a great collective.

I want to thank God for all of my sisters from another mister of ministering together. This was so wild and such an amazing experience for me, I am going to release segments from Friday night over the course of the next couple of days.

#SMAC! 🙌🏾 what a complete honor it was to be a part of the Smac conference in Birmingham this year! I had never been to Smac but what a humbling experience to be able to partake in such an amazing event!

I’m still shocked to be called one of the bass players for an all girl band of humble women from all across the country! Grateful that I also got a chance to do what I have always done all my life which is singing 🎤🙏🏾

for those who are new to my story, I am a singer who picked up the bass and started practicing during the pandemic. It is wonderful to see the doors that have opened and the connections that came because of a simple shift in my desire to evolve. 😩

I picked up some new family members (followers supporters) who only know me for playing bass while there is a great deal of people who only know me for singing and bringing those worlds together has overwhelmed my heart in a way that it’s fueling me to continue growing and creating!

I pray this inspires people to evolve and continue becoming who you were always meant to be

Again I’d like to thank Auntie Do @dorindaclarkcole for sharing her platform in a way that changes lives for multiple generations and for pouring knowledge into the church of today! Thank you for standing with us and encouraging us to change the world for the better! Thanks to @sabrinabanksmusic for recommending me to the team! 🤗 and thanks to my sisters @twannettamoniqueferebee @tamekaferebee @toshmarieee for the pep talks and support! 🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️

A recap of the 76th National Women’s Convocation through my lens 📸

What an honor and privilege to serve as a musician while also capturing moments throughout this incredible week. From the practice room to the stage, I witnessed the hard work, dedication, sacrifice, and excellence that made this gathering so impactful. Behind every powerful moment were countless hours of preparation, perseverance, and commitment from the leadership, musicians, choir, and every servant working behind the scenes.

My heart is full of gratitude for the opportunity to both serve and document what God did during this convocation.

Special thanks to Barbara Jackson Sago, Bridgette Plater, Wayne Thompson, and Derrick Moore for your leadership, vision, and investment. What a week to remember! 🙌🏾📸🥁 #76thNationalWomensConvocation #GratefulToServe #ThroughMyLens #COGIC #ExcellenceInService
