There’s LED… and then there’s Dermalux ❤️

Not all LED light therapy is created equal. Dermalux is a professional-grade, clinically recognised LED phototherapy system designed to deliver specific wavelengths of light at therapeutic intensities to support skin health.

At Sorella in Ashford, Kent, we use Dermalux as part of treatment plans for concerns including acne, redness, inflammation, dull skin, healing and skin rejuvenation. It’s also one of our favourite additions after treatments such as microneedling, peels and laser because it can help calm the skin and support recovery.

What makes Dermalux different?

It uses targeted wavelengths including blue, red and near-infrared light, each chosen for a different skin benefit. The treatment is non-invasive, pain-free and requires no downtime - you simply lie back, relax and let the light do the work.

So if you’ve tried an at-home LED mask and wondered whether professional LED is really different… yes, it can be.

One of my favourite little autumn skin treats has to be the @dermaquestuk Mini Pumpkin Mask! 🍂🎃

The power of pumpkin enzymes help to exfoliate away dead skin cells, and reveal a brighter, smoother-looking complexion✨

If your skin is feeling a little tired or looking a bit lacklustre, this could be just the little pick-me-up it needs!

Think of it as a Halloween treat for your skin… 🕸️👻🧡

📲DM me the word “PUMPKIN” to book your Autumnal skin treat.

As the natural light softens through autumn and winter, I invite my clients to step into the light in clinic.

Using Dermalux LED phototherapy, red and near-infrared wavelengths support cellular energy production, collagen synthesis, skin repair and the reduction of inflammation.

But for me, this experience goes beyond the skin.

Emerging research into photobiomodulation is exploring its potential influence on brain health, neuroinflammation and neurological function. While these effects are not yet established for facial LED treatments, the gentle warmth, stillness and sensory calm of our sessions offer an opportunity to slow down, unwind and support nervous-system relaxation.

A moment for your skin, your mind and your wellbeing.

A little light, when the days grow darker. ✨

If you’re feeling the need for a little restoration this season, I’d love to welcome you into clinic. 🤍

Por meio de comprimentos de onda específicos, a fotobiomodulação ela atua no cerne da função biológica: a mitocôndria. Com uma célula mais energizada o organismo responde melhor a qualquer procedimento. Dermalux é ciência de verdade.
