ok, let’s talk perioral dermatitis 🤍

Perioral dermatitis can show up as redness, small inflamed bumps, irritation and that frustrating itchy, uncomfortable feeling around the mouth.

While triggers can vary from person to person, things like a compromised skin barrier, certain skincare products, topical steroids and hormonal changes may play a role. Gut health and stress can also be worth exploring as part of the bigger picture.

For this beautiful before & after, we focused on calming the skin and supporting barrier recovery using Circadia Oxygen RX + LED therapy to help soothe the appearance of inflammation and redness.

We finished with Circadia Post Peel Balm to support skin comfort and Light Day SPF for daily UV protection. ✨

When skin is reactive, more isn’t always more. Sometimes the goal is to simplify, soothe and give the skin the support it needs.

Every skin journey is different, which is why personalised treatment and home care matter so much.

If you’re struggling with persistent redness, irritation or bumps around the mouth, a professional skin consultation is a great place to start. Perioral dermatitis can look similar to other skin conditions, so getting the right diagnosis is important.

Save this for your next skin reset 🤍

A little light can go a long way. ✨

LED Light Therapy is more than just a relaxing addition to your skin treatment.

Using specific wavelengths of light, Dermalux LED works to stimulate natural cellular processes within the skin, helping to support repair, calm inflammation and improve overall skin health.

From managing acne and redness to supporting skin rejuvenation and recovery after professional treatments, LED therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment with no downtime.

And the best part? It can be tailored to your skin's individual needs.

Because healthy skin isn't just about what we see on the surface. It's about supporting the skin's natural functions, too. 🤍
