After an incredible year and a half, I said my final “thanks for coming” to 123 Sesame Street. How blessed am I that I got to grow into myself as a professional on the road for such an incredible brand? A chance was taken on a baby faced Amanda in her 4th semester of school not quite yet 20 years old during that final callback. Sometimes I really wonder why that chance was taken on me, given how inexperienced I was in many ways, but I was given this opportunity nonetheless and it truly changed my life. Touring can do this beautiful thing to a person. It makes you see how big the world is and how small some problems really are. I became homesick for the first time, but really I just wished I could put all the people I love in my pocket and show them all of the amazing things North America has to offer. Over my time with Sesame Street Live I performed in 3 legs, 2 different shows (getting to be an original member of EGTM!), I became a swing for the first time, went to 44 states, 5 Provinces, and best of all made the most incredible memories. I couldn’t be more grateful for all of the life I’ve gotten to live this past year and a half. The beautiful thing about life is that sometimes you have to leave something behind, no matter how great, to find the next thing that can challenge you to grow. I’m entering a new season, with seeds to nourish with love and new life experiences. Thank you Sesame Street for all that you’ve taught me.

Happy closing day to EGTM 1st National Tour!! 🩷I’m beyond grateful to have been on the creative team and onstage for this project and to have brought this show to life for thousands of kids all over the country. I’m so blessed to have had this experience with the greatest, most talented, and beautiful people from the cast, crew, producers, management, and creative team. Sesame Street Live! Was my first live show I saw as a kid and it has been my greatest dream to get to be so many kids’ first live show as well. Thank you, Sesame Street, I love you 🩷
