It’s just under a month till @julieklausner & @billyeichner bring the table read of #DIFFICULTPEOPLETHEMOVIE to @townhallnyc (still a few tix left, get em while they’re hot!) so if you’re trying to figure out what to wear to the show, why not cop this number from the GIANT GIANT shop (100% of artist’s proceeds pledged to @immigrantlawcentermn)?

Pick up DIFFICULT PEOPLE: THE COMPLETE SERIES on blu ray wherever physical media is sold.

Ain’t Too Proud at the @themuny was one for the books. My first time back to my happy place in 10 years, getting to do a show I did the very first workshop of in 2017 but never got to actually appear in. I’ve never been the only person who “looks like me” in a company and it was an eye-opening experience that I will take with me my whole life. This remarkable company made the one white person (Jewish, particularly) feel so welcome and included. There was so much laughter, so much talent and so much fun involved in telling the remarkable (and often heartbreaking) story of Otis Williams and the Temptations. I’m exceedingly grateful to everyone at the MUNY and to the cast, crew and creatives of this production. A magical full circle moment. And that’s a wrap on Shelley “Bad News” Berger.

I’m on the far left.

The cast and crew with the last surviving OG Temptation, Dr. Otis Williams.

Me and Aramie twinning.

With the incredible James T. Lane and Nick Rashad Burroughs.

With artistic director Mike Isaacson and Joe Ortmeyer.

Big. A**. Fan.

This amazing cast and crew.

Shelley Berger bringing more bad news.

From the original 2017 workshop with Derrick Baskin, Otis Williams and real life Shelley Berger.

HEY NYC! Spend your election night with some Difficult People!

Join stars Julie Klausner, Billy Eichner, Andrea Martin, James Urbaniak, Shakina Nayfack, Gabourey Sidibe, Derrick Baskin and others who have not yet checked their email to learn what happened to the gang after the series ended. It’s a live table read of what we can assure you is a bonafide comedy caper that delivers on the same irreverent, pop culture-savvy, joke-dense, lovingly obnoxious sensibility as the series — but then, as Emeril taught us all to do before he passed away tragically in that shark attack ... kick it up a notch.

Tickets on sale at 12pm.est today at TheTownHall.Org or Tinyurl.Com/DifficultNYC
