SPACE. 🤍

When my husband and I started looking for our family home, there was one word that kept coming up again and again — space.

Space for our family to grow.
Space for our children to run free and be children.
Space for a playroom, a garden and a pool.
Space for our nanny to have her own private little flatlet on the property.
Space for big, comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms.
Space for an open-plan home filled with beautiful natural light.
And, perhaps most importantly, space to simply breathe.

We wanted a home that felt open, warm and connected to nature — with beautiful green, forested views and the privacy that comes with them.

And somehow, by focusing on that one simple word, we found everything we were looking for. 🤍

A home with space for our family, space for our dreams, and space for all the memories still to come.

Sometimes you don’t know exactly what your perfect home looks like…
you just know how you want it to feel. 🏡✨

✨ Meet Teagan | Home Ground Real Estate

Hi, I’m Teagan Cronje a loving wife and very proud mum of two very energetic kiddies. I feel incredibly honoured to be part of the @homegroundrealestate_kzn team. 🏡

What I love most about our team is that we are small, intentional and incredibly invested in one another — and, most importantly, in our clients. We believe in giving every client individual attention, understanding their unique needs and family, and going the extra mile to help them find the place they can truly call home.

My role within the team is a little different. Once an Offer to Purchase (OTP) has been signed, I step in to coordinate the transaction from the conveyancing side. I work closely with the attorneys, conveyancers, agents and clients, essentially being the person in the middle who keeps everything moving — right through to the day the property officially transfers into its new owner’s name. 🔑

It’s been an incredible learning journey for me so far. It comes with plenty of challenges (and a few curveballs! 😉), but I genuinely love a challenge and always try my very best to make the process as smooth and seamless as possible for everyone involved.

Here’s to many more homes, happy clients and keys handed over. 🏡🔑🤍

Beautiful ladies, you are extraordinary. 🤍

As Women’s Month draws to a close, I keep coming back to this beautiful evening at FIKA — women gathered around a table, sharing stories, sipping beautiful wine, creating and connecting.

And laughing. So much laughing.

There was such a sense of joy around the table that evening — the kind that comes when we give ourselves permission to play, to try, to make a mess and not take ourselves too seriously.

There is something quite special about beginning with a blank canvas and watching something slowly take form — trusting your hands, your eye and your instinct to create something that, only a few hours earlier, existed only in your imagination.

Thank you to every woman who joined me around the table, to @lamottewine for so generously sponsoring the beautiful selection of wines, and to @FIKA for creating such a magical setting, with the most delicious food to gather around.

One of the works created that evening has since travelled home to Portugal, and I love that about art. It has this beautiful way of moving beyond the moment in which it was made — travelling into new homes, connecting people, places and stories across the world. Something created together around a table in Ballito can find its place thousands of kilometres away and carry a little piece of that evening with it.

Beautifully captured by @derrynschmidt

Ladies, may you keep imagining what could be, keep creating, keep laughing — and keep making room for the things that make you feel alive. 🤍

August has been a beautifully full month.

With Women’s Month came workshops, collaborations, conversations, new connections and some really special moments — so much happening beyond the studio walls.

But everything always comes back here. 🤍

To the studio.
To the mess, the layers, the colour.
To making something from nothing and seeing where it takes me.

And behind the scenes, I’ve been working on something else too. My website has had a complete refresh and is now live.

It feels much more like me — and a much fuller reflection of the world I’m building around my work. New and available originals, collected works, commissions, workshops, recent projects and more of the story behind it all.

So after a wonderfully busy August, here’s a little return to where it all begins.

The studio.

Come have a look around — link in bio. x

A morning with the women who make @lifestylecentreballito what it is. 🤍

What struck me most about this group was the way they showed up for one another — generous, encouraging, full of ideas and completely willing to get stuck in. So much laughter around the table, but also such a genuine sense of connection.

There’s something pretty special about bringing together a group of women who work alongside one another every day, taking them out of their usual roles, and watching what unfolds when they’re simply given the space to create.

Strong women. Creative women. Women who champion one another.

Such a privilege spending the morning with you, Lifestyle ladies. 🎨🤍
