This is us: Kira and Michael. Together they are the “Duo in Motion” from Germany. They are professional circus artists specialized in partneracrobatics. This discipline kind of consists of Kira doing handstands on Michi’s hands or head + him throwing her around in salti and catching her again. When meeting for the first time back in 2016, Michi was just a break-dancer and Kira a dancer. They really enjoyed each others company and started dreaming together about a future performing as an acrobatic duo. Then in 2019, they started pursuing their dream and “Duo in Motion” came into existence! Ever since they traveled the world with their job and are living their absolute dream. What is special about the duo is that they kept Michi’s breakdance moves and Kira dancing skills in the duo acts. This makes their performances pretty unique in the circus world. On top of that, after one year of training together, they also became lovers. So, basically they are together 24/7. They live together, work together and train together 5-6 days a week. It can get tough – but they would not want it any other way! @duo_in_motion Photo by @sayyes_saycheese
