On April 12-14th, students in the CJA, Homeland Security Club, and St. Thomas Moore were blessed to go on a trip down to Washington D.C. due to the generosity of an alumni donor. During this time students were able to get a tour of the Supreme Court, the Capitol, Congressman Ryan Mackenzie’s Office, and the National Law Enforcement Museum. Along with getting these tours, students were able to go to various monuments. The students of these clubs want to extend our gratitude to the alumni whose donation allowed for this trip to happen!

📸 Huge thanks to the Lehigh County Courthouse for hosting our students for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the criminal justice system!

👩‍⚖️⚖️ From observing real court proceedings to networking with judges and professionals in Adult Probation, Juvenile Probation, Court Interpreting, and more, it was an eye-opening experience for all.
👏 Special appreciation to the judges, legal teams, and staff, as well as Melissa Dorflinger, for making this opportunity possible!

Stay tuned for more career-focused experiences.
