Ever met a wild orangutan in the middle of the Bornean jungle? 🦧✨

My first encounter at the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre was unforgettable — a place where rescued orangutans learn how to survive again in the wild. Watching them swing through the forest, come down for feeding time, or play in the outdoor nursery was pure magic. 🌿💛

It’s not a zoo — here, everything is about giving these incredible primates a second chance and preparing them to return to their natural home. An experience that made me feel the raw connection between humans and nature.

📍 Opening hours: daily 9:00–16:00
🍌 Feeding times: 10:00 & 15:00 ( be there 15minutes before feeding time)
🎟️ Entrance fee: RM 30 adults | RM 15 kids (non-Malaysians)
