A little moon hung over @little.moon.music as they put on a show with a band that felt like a small army. Springville’s most accomplished musician, Little Moon has been putting all of Utah on the map through notable tours, competition wins, and a viral take on baroque folk that isn’t afraid to visit deep and dark places. Those places are where we find ourselves at our most human, after all. In an age where even intelligence can be artificial, Little Moon makes real music for real humans.

@goldmythmusic is one of our all-time favs. Seeing her and her signature harp take the stage at the most recent @rooftopconcerts show was nothing short of electrifying. 😍 It’s been a great year for Rooftop. Looking forward to seeing The Madison Arm All-Stars show on September 18, 2026 to close out the season.

You may have seen me producing music videos like a mad man lately. That’s because I was recently made executive producer at @byumusicgroup. It’s been fun returning to my alma mater — but this time doing what I was meant to do.

I run a team that manages all of the musical sound recordings released by the university (a catalog of over 3,000 songs), as well as music video releases from their faculty and student performing groups. I’m also building out an audio library of stock music and working on initiatives where BYU invests in indie artists in the Provo music scene to help build out industry infrastructure here.

Honestly, it’s been humbling to work with award-winning groups like @byusingers, @byuconcertchoir, @byuwomenschorus, and @byumenschorus, and daunting to inherit the massive audiences of @byuvocalpoint and @byunoteworthy. But everyone has been so gracious and kind. I’m lucky every day to work with such brilliant and talented individuals and to directly support the culture of my people. I’ve worked many different jobs over the years, but this one feels like a sacred responsibility. To my counterparts at @byuperformingarts, thank you for believing in me.

I took a hard pivot into marketing during the pandemic. We just had our second baby, national tours got canceled, the industry shut down, and I was weeks away from being laid off at the great broadway licensing company I was working for. I applied for a junior marketing role and @byuengineering saved my family. It allowed me to recover financially, gain new skills, and ultimately launch @deseretnoiseco. I wouldn’t be here without Brian Blumer at BYU as well as @aimprota, my best friend, bandmate, and business partner.

Coming back to employment here in my true form feels like a full circle moment, and I couldn’t be more grateful.
