I stumbled upon a choreo that made my feet move instantly, and I knew I had to learn it and make a reel someday! Even though I knew it would take a LOT of time to master, I was determined to give it a try. Then one day, I came across a workshop by the very same choreographer. And I thought, why not learn it from the legend himself? 🤩🔥

The choreo was tough, but @gaurav.thukral , you made it feel so easy to learn! I enjoyed every bit of it. ❤️

Already looking forward to more choreos from you! 🫶🏻✨

Dance Teacher Advice - “The Responsibility of a Dance Teacher: Tradition, Legacy, and Pedagogy” 📚👟

Reflections from 2024:

It’s a profound responsibility being a dance teacher, emphasizing that it goes beyond teaching steps to preserving tradition and culture.

Sharing some insights for younger teachers on becoming a master teacher through time, trial, and developing one’s own pedagogy, and express gratitude for my last class in the Bay Area, highlighting the beautiful full moon class! 🌕✨

15 years of Kun Faya Kun. 🤍✨
Revisiting this one through contemporary movement — still one of those songs that feels less like something you dance to and more like something you move through.

Some songs just speak directly to the heart. Varoon Main has been on repeat all week, so I had to put my feelings into moves ❤️

Did the emotions reach you? Let me know in the comments!

Every city has brought its own energy, and San Francisco didn’t hold back.🫶🏾

We had the best time at our ✨Best of the Best✨Bollywood dance class, led by @amitdances. And then @amrynkhurana, who plays Sumi in the film, surprised everyone by joining in and dancing right alongside the class.🥹

Watching friends and OG dancers from the BOB era come together through dance has been one of the sweetest parts of this journey. San Francisco, thank you for showing up with so much heart.♥️

19 years of मैं अगर कहूँ — Main Agar Kahoon… and it still has that magic. ✨❤️
Some songs just never get old. 🕺✨
And apparently choreography supervision required higher ground that day. 😂🪑
Spot the choreographer in the background. 👀
