We can’t wait for our first night of proper techno at OHM! You’ll be in for a treat with DJs @ps_eleven, @raidosounds , and @zaza_ts. Dress up, or don’t, just come as you are.

Couldn’t make it to our OHMpening event and looking for plans next weekend?

Join us on Halloween for a night of deep dark techno and become immersed in the vibrations with our bespoke 4-point sound system.

We are proud to welcome back local techno legend PS11 @ps_eleven_ behind the decks for our spooky festivities, along with DJ @zaza_ts opening the night, followed by our very own DJ/designer @raidosounds
Music begins at 9pm, and goes until 2am or later.

Tickets are available for purchase via the RA link in our bio ($15 early-bird / $20 general admission). We ask that if you purchase a ticket and can no longer attend that you please resell through the app, to give others the opportunity to be there.

We are still riding high from last weekend and want to express a huge and gracious THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported our opening evening from near and far. Our team is overwhelmed with joy from the support we have been blessed with, and the beautiful and respectful community around us. This is just the beginning for us, and we cannot wait to continue to have you all along for the ride as our space continues to evolve to better support the electronic music and art community in the Capital Region.

It’s time!! We found our home, and we are thrilled to welcome you all to our [OHM]-pening party.

On October 17th, local legends Scotia and Electronic Meanderings will be warming up our sound system in the new space. Tickets are $15 and available for purchase on RA and the link in our bio. Our capacity is limited and that will be reflected in the amount of tickets available for purchase, once we are sold out, there will not be any more available at the door. Music starts at 9pm and the dancefloor will be open for grooving as late as possible!

As everyone that’s been following our journey knows, it’s been our mission from the start to bring a space curated for electronic music and art to the Capital Region. After a year of hard work and continued support from the community, we’ve finally reached our goal and we are overjoyed to announce that we are nearly ready to unveil OHM as it was intended. Through this process we’ve considered all of the input given to us through our outreach surveys, and connecting with people on various dancefloors. Our team has worked to apply those needs and desires into a purpose built venue to support the electronic arts and music. Our intention was to make this venue an ever evolving space, and we look forward to sharing the first iteration of OHM, the venue, with you all very soon.

Thank you to everyone whose unrelenting support and hard work has made this momentous goal possible.

We cannot wait to see you on our very own dancefloor, next week! More details about our first event to come soon.

Tomorrow is the day!
A reminder that presale tickets are available until 12 PM tomorrow via RA (link in bio), and tickets will also be available at the door for $20. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. If cost is a barrier, please come talk to us at the door.

A few additional reminders:

🧥 It’ll cool down to around 60°F at night, so bring a light jacket, we’ll have a place to store it for you.

You’ve all been asking, and finally the time is here. New merch just dropped!

Next week at our event on June 27th, we will have a limited supply of these shirts, plus a super special run of hats embroidered by the lovely @lyf_supply, some of which are pictured above.

Limited supply we say? What if you can’t make it to the event, or worse, you get to the event and we’ve run out of the shirt you want in your color or size?! 😱😰 Well fear not!

Today announces the official drop of our pre-sale for these shirts. Pre-sale will be open from June 19th to July 3rd, and T-shirts are $35.

All you have to do to secure a shirt is fill out the pre-sale form (link in our bio), and one of our team members will reach out to you to confirm your order and collect payment.

Once the pre-sale window closes we will send in our order to get processed, turn around is about 1-2 weeks and wallah, you got yourself a snazzy new OHM shirt! Pick-up will be required for most, but if you need your order to be shipped or delivered put a comment in the order form and we will make sure we get your merch to you!

The option for style variants is available, just select in the form if you’d like a tshirt, tank top, or crop top, and a black or white shirt.

All purchases directly support our organization in our next phase of growth; some big news we are incredibly excited to announce very soon and share with this amazing community. Any questions about our merch- please shoot us a DM, or fill out the comments/questions box on the presale form when ordering and someone from our team will be sure to promptly get back to you with answers.

Part of OHM’s mission is to facilitate and nurture connections with electronic music, electronic arts, and the vibrant creative energy that exists throughout the region. Too often, we are at the whims of the social media overlords who decide what is presented to us. It’s a challenge to stay up to date with what’s going on, and let’s be honest, we’re all better off experiencing more IRL events and less doomscrolling.

With that in mind, we are incredibly excited to share our community calendar at www DOT ohm518 DOT com SLASH calendar with all of you (link in bio). The calendar is meant to grow into a one-stop online hub where you, community members, artists, and organizers alike can stay in sync with local events, share and promote what you are creating, and build a supportive electronic music and arts community together.

Here’s how it works:
First, go to OHM518 . com
1. Once you arrive at our home page, click on the calendar button in the top left corner.
2. Under upcoming events, you can find our navigation bar with options to search by date, location (desktop only), or OHM presented events.
3. Select the “Submit an event” button to add an event of your own.
4. On the submission page, add your event’s flyer, location, date etc, and submit for approval.
5. Don’t forget to click the donate button if you appreciate our work and want to help support our mission.

As a community-centered service, anyone can submit new events to the calendar. All submissions must be electronic music or digital arts-focused. The OHM team will review community event submissions before they appear on the calendar to ensure relevance and basic quality control. We will not allow visibly AI-generated flyer art on the calendar, as we like to emphasize and facilitate real experiences with real people and support artists.

Huge thanks to Zach Pennachi, our brilliant website designer, for sharing his creativity and technical savvy and helping develop and evolve our digital space into something truly collaborative and built for the community.
