A beautiful end to the hardest two weeks of my life. We sent daddy off in style…New Orleans style.

Thank you to each one of you who has called, texted, sent food, dropped by, DM’d, showed up in New Orleans or sent cards. I have read every single message, I have felt every prayer and I appreciate every hug. This is a club that no one wants to be a part of but I have been embraced in nothing but love.

Jazz Fest gave us what it was supposed to give. I’ve been doing this same thing with these same people for many years now and that in itself is a blessing. 🙏🏾

My new favorite food is crawfish streudel. OMG. White chocolate bread pudding, crawfish pie, strawberry lemonade with Tito’s rounded it out. The music is good but everyone knows that the star of the show is the food. 🦞

There is no place like home. ⚜️

A hearty thank you to LaRoche Posay for having me once again at Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans! It was my pleasure to help launch their two great new products, Mela B3 and Anthelios Hydra UV (more on these in an upcoming reel). Special shout out to the LRP team, especially Emanuella and Andrea who always hold us down.

The 30th anniversary of Essence Fest did not disappoint. It’s always the perfect mix of business and pleasure, family and friends, fellowship and information. And New Orleans Marie Delacroix was not as hot as she can be this time of year. Don’t get me wrong, it was hot but it wasn’t miserable.
