💙 The sun was shining and it was the perfect backdrop for a productive day.

It started at the Main Street Market in Glenn Williams with my daughter Vanessa, enjoying lattes, homework and fresh air. Fellow organizer Wendy Monteathe stopped by with a client donation for the fur drive & catching up before we carried on with the day.

From there, Vanessa and I headed to Tin Roof Cafe in Erin to finish assignments and enjoy another latte.

☕️ A successful day all around!

💙 Another wonderful experiential afternoon with my daughter Vanessa at Maudlin. A maker studio in Orangeville.

We signed up for the learn to make a tote class. It was Vanessa’s very first time at a sewing machine and the first time I’ve touched one since high school. We were both starting fresh, and that made it even more fun.

🧵 Chelsea guided us with so much patience and the room was full of supportive energy. This new studio is worth celebrating for the way it brings people together through creativity and learning.

We are heading back to finish… can’t wait to share an update with the completed tote!

If you are looking for something to do solo or as a shared experience, check out this makers studio. It is all about making, creating and building community. Thanks Chelsea!

💙 Enjoying a stroll through the Toronto Flower Market and lunch at @mandysalads before starting a storage room organizing project with my daughter, is the best way to start a Saturday!

🌸 @vanessatetlock picked the prettiest blooms to create a gorgeous floral bouquet for her place!

💙 Up next…. Organizing her storage room!

☕️ Vanilla ice cream, cream and espresso on the rocks! Amazing and perfect for a hot humid evening treat!

💙 Daphinee, Donnie and Tyler, you have created a super sweet spot on Main! Congratulations on opening and best wishes for success!

💙 my daughter Vanessa has created an new IG account: @designedbyvt in support of a final project in her foundations of design program.

If you’re curious about the work she’s been processing, give her a follow!

Her small art business account is @moonflowerdesignsco She uses the proceeds of her custom art pieces sales to fund the supplies & save a little for her post secondary school costs. She’s #OCAD bound in September!
