Saved the best for last… Montenegro this summer was definitely a highlight. We did so much in 6 days, not to mention site visits and staying in every luxury hotel in the country, so you could say I’m an expert 🇲🇪

48 hours in Dubrovnik this summer 🇭🇷 A little wandering through Old Town, a little time swimming in the Adriatic, and plenty of stops just to take in the view.

Whistler, you’re so much more than a ski town. 🏔️

From walking the skybridge to riding the Peak 2 Peak Gondola, having lunch on top of Blackcomb Mountain, and ziplining through the trees, summer here is pretty hard to beat.

I can only imagine how magical it is covered in snow… I’ll be back with skis ⛷️❄️

Thanks to @fairmontwhistlr and @fswhistler for being the best hosts, and to @foratravel for the opportunity to experience Whistler firsthand 🤍

Seaplanes, skyline views, a bike ride through Stanley Park, suspension bridges, mountaintop grizzlies and a market run by boat—all in one day. Vancouver really does give you the city, mountains, forest and water at once. 🇨🇦🌲🏙️

Save this itinerary for your Vancouver trip and send it to the person you’d want to explore the city with!

When you’re interested in becoming a travel advisor, one of the first things you’ll do is choose a host agency.

My best advice? Do 👏🏻 your 👏🏻 research 👏🏻

I was recruited to join InteleTravel before I did any research of my own. And once I joined, I spent the first 4 months floundering and honestly had no idea what I was doing. The whole thing just felt…complicated. 😅

I won’t get too far into all of that here, but if you’re considering becoming a travel advisor, I highly recommend looking into all of your options and understanding exactly what you’re signing up for.

I had a friend, @designeddepartures 🫶🏻, who had been with Fora for about a year, and I really looked up to the business she had built. So when I finally took the leap and joined Fora, it was honestly like a breath of fresh air.

It was EXACTLY what I was looking for from a host agency. Modern, intuitive, supportive, and it made starting my business feel so much less overwhelming.

And one thing I see ALL the time when people ask about host agencies is:

“Yeah, but have you made any money?”

And honestly? That’s not really up to the host agency

That’s all you, baby 💃🏼

Your host agency can give you the tools, training, technology, resources, and support. But you have to build the business

If you want to know how travel advisors actually make money, go watch Part 4 of my Building My Travel Business series!

And just to be clear - this is based entirely on my personal experience and what I was looking for in a host agency. There are tons of different host agencies and business models out there, and what works for me might not be what works for you.

So please, please, please do your research and ask the right questions before you sign up 🫶🏻
