Now that I’ve gotten your attention…let me reintroduce myself.👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽

I’m Cassandra Hamer.

I’m a creative architect, graphic designer, educator, author, business founder, and most importantly, a lover of Jesus.

I’ve spent more than a decade creating, designing, teaching, building brands, developing ideas, and figuring out how to turn the things in my head into something people can actually see, feel, and experience.

I’m the founder of @designelementary and @creativeplaygrnd , where I teach kids that creativity is more than making something pretty. It’s a way of thinking, solving problems, communicating, and seeing possibilities where other people might not. In short…. WE’RE SHIFTING THE EDUCATIONAL SPACE.

I’m also the founder of @unboxedtm , a creative agency and community designed to help people and brands bring their ideas to life. So any design or creative need you have… WE CAN DO IT!

From this I’ve launched @churchcre8tiveacademy a space for Christian creatives.

I’m a teacher.
A designer.
An author.
A creative strategist.
A business builder.
A Jesus girl.
A student.
A daughter.
A woman who has had to start over, pivot, learn, stretch, trust God, and keep going.

There are ideas I haven’t built yet. Books I haven’t written yet. Rooms I haven’t walked into yet. Children I haven’t taught yet. Businesses I haven’t built yet. People I haven’t impacted yet.

So if you’re new here, welcome.

And if you’ve been here for a while, you might be meeting a newer version of me. 👋🏽

Same creativity.
Same faith.
Same big ideas.

Just wiser, a lot more intentional, and finally realizing that I don’t have to shrink the vision just because it’s bigger than me.

We’re just getting started.

Im very content with hanging out with kids and teaching them all day, butttttt being the founder requires me to learn how to be a CEO or founder, whichever one you want to go with. @designelementary @creativeplaygrnd

I wrote my first of many books back in…. Idk.
I’ve launched 12+ more over the last year so head over to @designelementary for your kiddos parents and educators.

The goal is to combine the creative and education in a way that prepares kids for the future

Behind every business there is a story that rarely gets told. ✨

The risky decisions. The self-doubt. The moments when the “safe” path no longer feels right. And the courage it takes to trust yourself when you still don’t know exactly how it’s all going to work out. 💜

At the Global Female Entrepreneurs Summit 👉🏽
💎 Cassandra Hamer @cassandra.hamer, Founder of @designelementary
💎Katya Solov @katya.femtech Founder of @miranna_com and
💎Alya Hakim @alyahakimofficiel, Founder of @ghramcom

are sharing the real stories behind what they’ve built — including the lessons, challenges and decisions that shaped their journeys.

Because sometimes what you need most as a female founder isn’t another perfect success story.

It’s hearing from women who have taken the risks, faced the uncertainty, and kept building anyway. ✨

There’s something so special about seeing a vision you prayed about become something children can actually experience. 🥹

When I look at this photo, I don’t just see a Design Elementary event. I see years of creativity, faith, hard work, learning, pivoting, and believing… all coming together in one moment.

I started Design Elementary with a simple belief: children deserve to see themselves as creators, not just consumers. And every time I watch a child engage with design, ask questions, create something of their own, or simply light up with excitement, I’m reminded why we started.

Sometimes you have to pause and realize… wow, look how far we’ve come.

This journey hasn’t looked exactly how I imagined it would. There have been pivots, challenges, moments of uncertainty, and plenty of “God, are we really doing this?” moments. 😂 But there have also been so many confirmations that remind me we’re on the right path.

And honestly? I feel like we’re just getting started. 👀
There is SO much more ahead for Design Elementary

I’m grateful for what has been built.
I’m excited about what’s coming.
And I’m trusting God with every step in between. 💛
The best is still being designed.

Joy and peace come Kemistry. I am proud of my creative sparring partner it is a joy to working alongside @msoutlaw

When we’re working together there’s a creative ease and flow that’s rooted in mutual respect and shared values. It doesn’t mean we agree on everything because that would be boring.

It means we take the time to listen communicate ideate and create. We elevate each others ideas and the our client’s visions. Covey called the process synergy, we call it Kemistry

Teaching value to 3rd, 4th, 5th graders doesn’t have to be boring or lack creativity.

Had the joy of teaching these grade levels about their value and how even when someone disagrees with their ideas or creativity, it doesn’t change the value of it. Even when someone else doesn’t see your value, I want them to be empowered to see their value… why? Because they’re creative, they have a big mind, and they are Gods gift to the world.

Bring @designelementary to your school or programs 😆
The kids walked around pointing at each other saying “you matter” long after our session. That’s a win!

There’s something powerful about looking a child in the eyes and reminding them, “You matter.”

Not because of grades.
Not because of talent.
Not because of performance.
Simply because they exist.

Sometimes I wonder who we would become if more of us heard those words early.

If someone spoke life into our ideas before insecurity did.
If someone reminded us we were valuable before comparison convinced us otherwise.

If someone saw potential in us before we even knew how to see it in ourselves.
So many children are carrying more than we realize, questions about who they are, whether they’re enough, whether their voice matters.

And sometimes one sentence…
One moment…
One person believing in them…
Can shift the direction of a life.
That’s why I do what I do.
Not just to teach creativity.
Not just to teach design.

But to remind children that they are seen, capable, needed, and full of purpose.

You never know what can grow from a child who truly believes they matter.
