Here’s what to do to post filler for a speedy recovery & seamless results 🫶🏼

❌ Avoid vigorous kissing or massaging the lips (and/or area injected UNLESS instructed to do so)
❌ Avoid strenuous exercise 24-48 hours to minimize swelling & bruising
❌ Avoid alcohol and smoking for at least 24 hours
❌ No saunas, hot steamy showers
❌ Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated! Avoid drinking out of a straw for 2 weeks.
❌ Avoid blood thinning medications

Patients can experience swelling and bruising post treatment. We recommend planning accordingly 🫶🏼

The Importance of Balance ✨⬇️⬇️

This client originally came in seeking lip filler, aiming for a volumized, pouty bottom lip while maintaining a natural look.

I explained that, with her naturally full lips, we needed to support the surrounding areas before adding more volume. Balancing the features around her lips would achieve a more natural and subtle result.

During her first appointment, we treated her chin and lips together. 🫶🏼

Curious about your ideal Botox dosage? 💉

Here’s a guide to the typical ranges for each area. Remember, your dosage is uniquely tailored to you, so avoid comparing it with your friends. Everyone’s face ages differently, and muscle contraction varies from person to person.

Several factors influence the proper dosage:

1. Severity of skin damage (lines/wrinkles)
2. Skin condition
3. Muscle strength
4. Individual anatomy
5. Age

Neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau, Xeomin) take up to 14 days to fully settle in, though results may appear sooner depending on the area and product. Patients usually return 2-3 weeks after treatment for reassessment, and additional doses may be administered if necessary.
