Love lies are often inherited, not intentional!!!

So if love feels like fear, silence, or self-abandonment, it may be a lie you were taught and learned.

Some of what we call “love” were lessons we never chose. Family systems, culture, religion, and past relationships taught us these scripts - not all of them were healthy and they do not have to trap us.

Many of our relationship struggles are not personal failures but inherited love beliefs from family systems, culture, faith, and past emotional wounds.

Remember, what shaped you doesn’t have to define you. You can relearn love with awareness, compassion, and courage. Healing begins when we unlearn “love” that hurts and choose connection that feels safe, honest, and whole.

Healthy love is learned as awareness breaks evil cycles.

SYNC 1.0 themed Trauma, Truths and Love Lies is here, let us dive into Love Lies learned through family systems, culture, religion, or past relationships on February 7th, 2026 by 11AM GMT/ 12PM WAT via ZOOM.

Do scan code on flyer to register.

See you there

What is S.Y.N.C. 1.0?

Many people go through life trying to make meaning of "LOVE" but find that they are unable to make lasting connections. Quite a lot of us carry past traumas and confusion into new relationships.

SYNC is your support system: real, raw, and an outright challenge on what you were wrongly taught about love.

At SYNC 1.0, our goal is to equip you to STEER YOUR NEXT CHAPTER through conversations about trauma, healing, and everything in between.

Our incredible speakers will be sharing professional insight and personal experiences.

Date: February 7, 2026
📌 Location: Zoom (pre-registration required)

There’s nothing quite like finding a home church you can truly call home.
Daystar became that place for me nearly two decades ago, a house that didn’t just welcome me, but shaped me. A house built on clarity, excellence, intentional love, integrity, excellence, accountability and faith… and somehow, those core values found their way into my own becoming.

This is one core place where my gifts found expression, where my voice grew strong, where I learned to serve with joy, lead with grace, think with wisdom, and love with depth.
This is the family that taught me that being rooted is strength, that stability produces stature, and that community can hold you up in seasons when you can’t hold yourself.

I am especially grateful for our spiritual parents, Dr. Sam & Pastor Nike Adeyemi. Their leadership has been pure grace: steady, visionary, authentic, and deeply fathering/mothering in the ways that matter most.
They have poured, prayed, encouraged, corrected, empowered, and believed.
And I carry the evidence of their impact everywhere I go.

So today, as Daystar Christian Centre turns 30, my heart is full.
Full of gratitude, full of honour, and full of joy for a house that has raised role models, lifted nations, and changed countless lives - mine included.

Happy 30th Anniversary, @daystarng @nikeadeyemi @thesamadeyemi Thank you for being home, always! ❤️✨
