The announcement coincided with Dr. Despite’s 63rd birthday, marking a significant milestone in his legacy.

The news was shared via Instagram by Kennedy Osei, Dr. Despite’s first son, who highlighted the museum’s unique position in the region. “On his birthday, he announces the first automobile museum in Ghana—possibly the first of its kind in West Africa. The Despite Automobile Museum will open soon,” Kennedy wrote. The museum’s official Instagram page, @despiteautomuseum, further teased the grand opening, promising visitors an extraordinary experience. “As we honour his legacy today, we are thrilled to announce that the Despite Automobile Museum officially opens soon! Get ready to experience a breathtaking collection of classic and luxury cars like never before.”

According to the museum’s bio, the facility will showcase a fusion of luxury, history, and craftsmanship, offering car enthusiasts exclusive behind-the-scenes access and unparalleled content. The collection is said to feature multimillion-dollar vintage and luxury cars sourced from around the world, making it a must-visit destination for automotive aficionados.

Dr. Despite celebrated his birthday in style, beginning the day with the East Legon Executive Fitness Club members, who honored him with songs and a birthday cake. Later, he toured the museum with friends to ensure everything was in place for the grand opening. The museum promises to be a rich and classy display of automotive excellence, cementing Dr. Despite’s legacy as a visionary entrepreneur and philanthropist.

The Despite Automobile Museum represents more than just a collection of cars—it is a testament to Dr. Despite’s dream of preserving history and craftsmanship while inspiring future generations.
