Before we end the month off, (yes I know it’s Aquarius season, yes my birthday was January 2nd, yes it’s still my birthday month!) I just wanna say thank you for an amazing start to the year, a dope and loving birthday celebration surrounded by (and messaged by so many other loving ppl) my loved ones and special friends, it’s been an amazing month so far and I am excited for the rest to unfold! I’m feeling 28 and Great! Happy Birthday to da Goat!

so much of my year didn't make IG! Whether it's pics for myself, this I psyched myself out of, or stuff showing my work-in-progress, whatever the case is. but it's been a crazy year, so here's some stuff to get off my chest before the end of 2023:

· this year became about family in the most unexpected of ways. I'm thankful for each and every one of my Spellman family esp @taurispellman_therunwayguru @_k.richhh @beautiifulyannaa.__ @livin4chris1 @_luigi_prettyboi and Massan who have seen me from the start and watched me bambi my way through vogue, face, runway, and realness. Losing gracefully is not my strong suit but my debut was in November and I am proud to be in the International House of Del Core 👄💅🏾 Love y'all sm!

· Air, train, car, bus... I've been so many places this year and LOVED it!!! So many music festivals, friends reunited and fun nights out. ❤️

· The big chop was a LOT harder than it looked on the gram. Changing my gender expression impacted not only me but the people around me, and threw a lot of hate my way. Walking in realness has made it hard too but I'm learning that change is both scary and necessary, and a chapter is only temporary.

· so many friends that I love. @about_divad @kan.erie_ @tyreeky @i.xshanelleraye @luckynumber9_ @kylemahlik @gangstagurry @_tsun.ami @lauryn.mens @1amriq @kxng.bry @0nlytayblack @kiaratgb and so much more!

· I'm so thankful for my 2nd job at @erie.ink — teaching creative writing workshops has refueled me in my own writing journey bc I'm seeing myself go from the student to the teacher at the place where my writing journey took off. btw, buy our newest teen anthology and support local nonprofits! (

· for over half of 2023 I battled with severe liver damage, and struggled hard with how to be vulnerable about my journey. I was diagnosed with Hepatitis C and luckily have been treated and cured. All the H-diseases (HIV/HPV/HSV/Hepatitis) carry long term effects and aren't exclusive to gay people. Have those uncomfy convos with your partners, play safe, and keep up with your health.

2023 that's a fucking wrap! 🔥
