Reflecting on the MTAs yesterday the only thing I feel overwhelmingly is how incredibly lucky I am in my life right now. I mention often my DDLM family (Lindsey matty and Brayden) but I don’t think i ever properly explain how much love and support I have. Lindsey and Matty welcomed me not only into their home but let me completely turn it into a workspace in which they are working alongside me on every project I do. Costuming is messy and I get emotional about that and they have been there every time I am crashing out because my needle breaks for the 200th time (the aliens), let me turn the garage, basement, living room, office , everywhere into a Cosutme space, they carry things with me into fittings and are models for me, go with me to goodwill, everything. Lindsey is my biggest logistical supporter and would never let an email pass me by (not my strong suit) and keeps me on track for everything. They talk through my ideas for me and they understand theatre in a way that helps provide so much artistic inspiration. I look up to them all so much as artists. Many people go their whole lives without finding friends this amazing and my heart is so full looking at all of the memories we have shared over the past few years working on these projects. To many more 💞

The Flick Poster Project — @theatrechar Season 98
Slowly catching up on posting some of my work from the last year. Here’s a fun one. I directed The Flick, Annie Baker’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play at Theatre Charlotte this year. The play follows three movie theater employees so to promote it, we decided to re-create some classic movie posters with the cast. This was a fun one to shoot, make, and direct!

Seriously this has been one of my favorite projects I’ve ever worked on- from the cast, choreography, characters and the whole vision being so fun it felt so easy to make memories. Franz was so much fun to bring to life, so a huge thank you to everyone who let me explore this character. TS3 is my favorite time of year and I’m so glad the tradition still lives on. Already missing the all day rehearsals and show days, miss you all and keep on rockin’ 🎸🤘
