Mad Dog East Elite #25 | Roxbury lax

🚨 ACE PLAYER ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

Welcome Destin Vasquez | 2029 | Roxbury | Mad Dog to the Advanced College Experience.

Vasquez is a slick left-handed offensive player with the versatility to operate behind the cage, on the lefty wing or come out of the box as a midfielder. He can get underneath, attack up the hash or get over the top to his strength and finish.

What really stands out, though, is Destin without the ball. He is constantly moving, finding gaps and putting himself into dangerous areas. He’s every bit as difficult to account for off-ball as he is with the ball in his stick.

And that offensive instinct translated quickly to varsity lacrosse. During the May 1–17 stretch of his freshman season, Vasquez averaged 5.3 points per game, placing him among New Jersey’s leading scorers during that period regardless of class.

Lefty. Versatile. Slick. Dangerous off-ball.

Already producing against varsity competition as a freshman, Vasquez has the skill, instincts and versatility to be an offensive prospect to watch in the 2029 class.

WHERE DEVELOPMENT MEETS EXPOSURE.

4-0 at the Long Island Summer Showdown. Proud of this maddog_eastelite squad. Destin found the net a few times, but the best part was watching this group compete together. 🥍

Proud Parents moment 🙏🏻

A lot of people will see the goals, points, and awards. I see the backyard reps, the long rides, the early mornings, the patience, and the heart behind it all.

Destin was honored with the Mark Blough Freshman Award, led the varsity team in points, and finished with the most goals ever scored by a freshman in Roxbury lacrosse history.

Grateful for the coaches, teammates, and everyone who poured into him along the way.

Proud of the player he’s becoming. Even more proud of the young man. 🥍
