This is one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Not only was it huge, but it was DELICIOUS.

It’s called the manhattan burger, 8oz angus beef, brioche bun, NY pastrami, fried egg, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and smoked red pepper sauce.

AMAZING.

I’ve been wanting to try Michele’s Cookies & Bundt for MONTHS. 🍪🤍

I originally reached out a while back because I wanted cookies for my book club, but I needed them that same day and she needed a little more notice. Life happened, I forgot to circle back, and then this week Michele reached out to tell me about her monthly pop-up because she remembered I wanted to try them. 🥹

We stopped by, got to know her a little, and she is seriously so sweet. She’s been baking since she was little with her aunt and grandma, and you can tell how much she loves what she does.

And the cookies? We literally pulled over because we couldn’t wait until we got home to try them 😂 There honestly wasn’t a bad one.

Make sure you’re following Michele’s Cookies & Bundt — she’ll also be dropping holiday goodies soon. 🎄🍪

We went to Jealous Fork for Destiny’s birthday, what better way to start the day 🥞

I literally waited an entire YEAR to try their September special the Guayaba y Queso pancakes. I missed them last year, and this year I barely made it because we went with only two days left in September. But, I finally got to try them, and they were worth the wait.

They’re topped with guayaba y queso, but what really surprised me was the bacon inside the pancakes. They marinate it overnight in maple syrup, so you get this sweet, slightly crunchy texture throughout the pancake and it was absolutely delicious.

Unfortunately, they’re no longer available since they were the September special, so consider this your reminder to mark your calendar for next year. 😂

Jealous Fork always has monthly specials, and honestly, I have yet to try one that wasn’t good. I already can’t wait to see what they have for October.

This was probably the most fun way we’ve ever tried a menu, it’s already been a few weeks and I’m still thinking about it 🥞

Joaquin mentioned that he always sees content creators having to stop to record everything, and by the time they actually get to eat, the food is cold. 🫠 That’s something most people probably never think about, but he cared enough to make sure we could get the content, AND still try everything the way it was meant to be eaten.

I’ve said this before, but his brain is truly one of a kind. 😂

He turned most of the menu into bite-sized portions so we could make our way through everything without completely tapping out by course three… although we were definitely rolling by the end. 😂

Destiny and I tried everything, and honestly there really wasn’t a bad bite. Every time we thought we had a favorite, something else came out and made us rethink it.

I already knew I loved Jealous Fork, but this definitely added a few new favorites to the list - in no specific order :

Pancakes:
🥞 Chicken Thigh High
🍓 Strawberry Cheesecake
🫐 Blueberry Lemon Curd
🥞 Original Pancake

Appetizers:
🥓 Bacon Spindle
✨ Billionaire Brunch Bite
🧀 Smoked Burrata

And just to be clear, I’m not saying the rest wasn’t good — these are just the ones I’d order again without even thinking twice. 😂

Let me know in the comments if you’ve been to jealous fork what your favorite dish is 👇🏼

One of my favorite things about creating content is getting to meet the people behind the food.

Nicki’s passion for her family business is contagious, and after hearing her talk about the love and care that goes into every grazing board, I couldn’t wait to experience it for myself.

Good food, good friends, a soccer game on in the background, and a table full of homemade bites.

I’d call that a pretty perfect afternoon. ⚽️🧀❤️

Be sure to check out @craftedbynicki for your next gathering.
