There are moments when you dream about something for so long that when it’s finally over, you’re left with one overwhelming feeling: gratitude.

Networking on the Rocks was everything I prayed it would be and more. Every conversation, every laugh, every hug, every new connection reminded me why this vision was placed on my heart in the first place.

To our incredible volunteer team—thank you. You showed up with servant hearts, flexibility, and joy. A special thank you to our Volunteer Coordinator, Paris (SISSY!!!), for leading with excellence, keeping everyone informed, and making sure our team stayed connected every step of the way. Every volunteer exceeded my expectations, and because of you, every guest felt welcomed.

To our vendors and speakers, thank you for sharing your gifts, your businesses, your stories, and your wisdom. You helped create an experience that people won’t soon forget.

To our amazing mocktail partners, thank you for stocking our open mocktail bar and believing in this vision. You helped us show that connection doesn’t need alcohol—it just needs intentional people gathered around a great drink.

Networking on the Rocks is so much more than an event to me. It’s a reminder that community still matters. Hospitality still matters. Intentional conversations still matter.

This year, I told myself I wasn’t going to focus on the numbers. I was going to focus on the pour.

And after pouring so much into this experience, I can say with confidence: the pour was worth the well.

Thank you, Richmond, for believing in this vision. My heart is full, and I’m already excited for what’s next.
