Happy Birthday to #JDilla who would have turned 48 today. Unfortunately, the man born James Yancey passed away 3 days after his 32nd birthday which was also the day his classic album Donuts dropped, seen here on blue #coloredvinyl included in the @turntablelab exclusive @stonesthrow box set. Dilla was one of a kind and left a slew of absolute bangers that will still resonate with listeners for years to come. Tragically lost way too soon. If you haven’t heard Donuts or have any Dilla blind spots you should certainly check them out. #hiphop #rap #vinyl
