Your two favorite dopamine hits have collided into one.

Pet memes have been around since the dawn of meme-existence. Our beloved critters have been a source of joy in our lives and on our computer screens for decades.

For 90’s kids, similar things can be said about Pokémon. The now billion-dollar franchise has pierced our souls and contributed to some of our greatest joys of all time.

Artist Courtney Tovar has been combining these two sources of joy for some time now through her work. Umbreon constantly appears throughout her work, recreating some of the best cat memes ever.

Canine memes are well represented in Courtney’s work, too. Arcanine appears throughout, recreating viral memes. While Houndoom is often up to some trouble. Even Pombon, the upcoming fire starter from Generation 10, gets some love!

Courtney’s work captures the joy of loving pets. All the while, reinterpreting Pokémon in the way we all wish they existed- in a reality beyond the world of video games.

Follow Courtney @desutroyah to keep up with awesome work!

I believe in myself and my ability to get Star into every room.

On every possible wall, shelf, and cabinet. This isn't something I take lightly, I want to make Star something that everyone recognizes, where they don't even question where it comes from... from plushies to figures I will make Star the biggest thing of the decade.

I will make that happen. I am working on it, sometimes without sleep. I believe in it. I believe in you.

This platform is just a vessel of everyone that's here, and it gives me the opportunity to make things that I've always wanted to.

I started in 2024, you can do the same shit and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

If it's art, if it's clothes - you name it. You can do it.

It's gonna be an OSL® year.
