•Every opportunity to work with a different player is a chance to not just teach, but LEARN. 💯
•
•Last week, I was blessed to work with @kevin_huerter for 2 days as he is preparing for his 1st season in Sacramento. I had the chance to get on the court & grind with him, but most importantly, he shared his time after each session & broke down what has made him successful in the NBA.
•
1.) There’s a difference between being in the NBA & being a “PRO”. 😤
2.) AVAILABILITY is everything‼️
- He was ready for his opportunity & never gave anyone else an opportunity to take his spot. 🦾
3.) Practice is such a SMALL part of the job.
- Your commitment must be 24/7 to your craft! 😵‍💫
4.) The guys that stick seem to be the guys that do the EXTRA work. 🏋🏾‍♂️🏀🏃‍♂️🧘‍♂️
5.) Find your role & master it! 🥷
- Be honest with yourself. 💯
- You may never get the chance to be the franchise player. How will you STAY in the league? 🤷🏾‍♂️
- You get to 10+ years by being an All-Star ⭐️ or a “specialist” 🥷.
•
•Shoutout to Kevin! All the best to you in Sac! Thankful for my brothers Coach Sean & Coach Booker! You make me better! ✊🏾💯

One of my favorite misdirection moves. A great way to reject a ballscreen or a move after catching a defender sleeping.

One of my many many 2 PLAYER 2 BALL GAME ACTION team drills with @iamrobynnnn @amayaregister @kaila.hubbard @moreofbiancaa_ @iammiaihoopmj @cameron_swartz623 Ball screen and strong side lift. You have drills ... then you have drills that actually simulate the game and game actions! Player development needs to transfer to the game. Game shots, Game reads. Game reps,Game speed. #collegebasketballplayers #gamereps #ncaawomensbasketball #imaclinician #basketballiq #imaoncourtmultitasker #wegetbetter

Multi tasking to give @willtolefree1 effective 2man narrow pin-down game reps. Screener, passer and defender. Attacking a close out, one dribble pull, putting the defender on his hip into a cross-step step-away. He repped this 30X in a row. @seanshermanbasketball #fiba #eurobasketball #probasketball #reps
