Detroit PBS has been broadcasting from Wixom for years. That changes at 234 Piquette.

The Fred and Barbara Erb Public Media Campus will put Detroit PBS and 90.9 WRCJ under one roof in Milwaukee Junction, with a newsroom, radio studios, broadcast production, and community event space.

The Erb Family Foundation's $7.5 million comes as a challenge grant matching every dollar donated, giving the campaign 36 months to close the gap.

A sentimental throwback. Playing Caroline in “Detroit ‘67” last year with the @detpubtheatre was the most fulfilling, soul nurturing, humbling, and grounding experience. Forever thankful to all who were involved.

🎵 New Music Video Out Now — “Polar Train” by Julianne Ankley! The official music video just released and is streaming now on @youtube

About the Release
Polar Train is a single from American singer-songwriter Julianne Ankley, known for her soulful Americana, country, blues, and rock sound. The track was released as a digital single in late 2025 and has a cinematic, gritty feel that plays on the imagery of an icy train to express emotional themes. Special thanks go out to @yorgdetroit for doing such a great job with all things filming, editing and general great vibing, @tracibuck65 for being the key grip and great supporting friend, @porthuronmuseums for allowing us to shoot at the Edison Depot Museum (which was perfect for this), Dave and Shelley for keeping it open for us in their closed season, and Mother Nature for providing the perfect snowstorm! :) ❄️🚊🧊🥶💺
