The Ladder Helmet's one weakness? It's porous. And if gunk gets lodged into it, that gunk can mark up interior walls. But fear not!!! This minor setback is very easily solved. We set on a long, difficult, and strenuous 30 minute experiment (I can't believe we even survived) to figure out how to quickly clean the Ladder Helmet, returning it to its former glory.
Each of the zoned areas were scrubbed by a soft sponge and their corresponding chemicals for roughly 15 seconds each. As you can see in the results, Tilex came out on top, but not every window cleaner carries that around. Bioclean Hard Water Stain Remover came in at an impressive tie, or near-tie finish, which is our preferred method, because bleach is gross. (Tilex contains bleach). Bioclean is non-toxic, and many window cleaners carry it (as they should, because it rocks.) (Sidenote: I miss Ecover; can't find it anywhere!)
Upon later testing, we've also found that a magic eraser does a great job cleaning off the Ladder Helmet.
And now you know. Because remember kids, knowing is half the battle.

Perk 3 - Thicccness. Ever lean 100+ lbs of bare metal, or even a bonneted top section against a few millimeters of wood corners? It doesn't end well. Usually involves scuffing or taking a chunk out of a customer's window frame. But fear not! The Ladder Helmet's perfect balance of rubbery goodness will keep that wooden frame perfectly intact.
