This year at PGC has been a special one for me, especially because it came during a transition in my basketball journey. I officially finished my college playing career this past spring, and for the first time, I’ve had to start thinking about what my future in the game looks like beyond being a player.

PGC helped me realize that my story in basketball doesn’t end when my playing career does.

Throughout this year, I’ve grown in my confidence, my communication, my understanding of the game, and most importantly, my ability to lead. Those are things I know I’ll carry with me into this next chapter.

I’m incredibly grateful to now have the opportunity to step into a college basketball assistant coaching role. Being able to go from playing the game I love to helping teach, develop, encourage, and lead other athletes is something I’m genuinely excited about.

There’s definitely a lot I still have to learn, but PGC has given me the confidence to trust my voice and believe that I have something valuable to offer as a coach.

My playing career may have ended this spring, but God has shown me that the end of one chapter can be the beginning of something even greater.

My life verse has always been Romans 8:31: “If God is for us, who can be against us?”

I’m trusting God with this next chapter, trusting the process, and trusting that every step has been preparing me for where I’m supposed to be.

From player…. to coach. 🏀

For the past 13 years 🕰️ @pgcbasketball has truly changed my life. I’m overwhelmed with love and gratitude for everything it’s given me 🧠 I’ve had the opportunity to travel to beautiful places around the world 🏞️ and meet even more beautiful people along the way. The friendships, mentors, and memories I’ve made will stay with me forever. Every experience has helped shape the person I am today🧑🏽‍🦱 Thank you for believing in me and investing in my growth. I’ll always be grateful for this journey. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 Shoutout to these INCREDIBLE PEOPLE who made it all so special! 💙💙
