🚨 UPDATE: SUSPECT ARRESTED.

Anna Mochalova, 32, has been arrested and charged with assault as a hate crime following the alleged syringe attack on a 26-year-old rabbi in Midtown Manhattan.

An arrest is a step toward accountability. No Jew should have to hide who they are to walk safely in New York.

Jewish safety cannot depend on Jewish invisibility.

If this report is accurate, requiring Jewish educators to condemn Israel as a condition of attending an early childhood education program is outrageous. What does a political declaration about Israel have to do with teaching young children?

The New York Jewish Alliance condemns this reported requirement. Jewish educators should have the same access to professional opportunities as everyone else, without being subjected to a political loyalty test.

Before the event started, I had the pleasure of meeting Devonte Montgomery, a proud supporter of the Jewish people and Israel, who is currently in the process of converting to Judaism.

His story is incredibly interesting. He shares more about his journey on Instagram @devantemonty , including how he came to find Hashem and what ultimately led him toward Judaism.

While there were external influences along the way, it was his own internal reflection and questioning that really shaped his journey. He spent time questioning religion and searching for something that truly resonated with him, eventually finding that connection through Judaism.

It was really inspiring to hear a little bit about his story and the path that brought him here.

We need more people like him on our team. Thank you for choosing us.

Honored to have attended with @devantemonty Monday’s October 7th commemoration ceremony, organized by the Consulate General of Israel in New York.

Listening to the remarks by Consul General Ofir Akunis and hearing the powerful testimonies reaffirmed one fundamental truth: we must stand united, carry this memory together, and never forget.

Listen to @devantemonty @therealcarolineshinkle is the HOPE & CHANGE candidate on the ballot this November. She’s running against a Mamdani supporter and Nadler 2.0. 🤦‍♀️

Last night @bruceblakemanforgovernor and I held a very successful “parlor like” gathering where we talked about fighting crime, tax relief and fighting hate. It starts by supporting our police and stopping Mamdani like policies. I was also joined by @devantemonty, @ariacker, @dtm0920 and @taliareesecomic! I want to thank everyone who came to this important gathering and to my friends @ekashi_squared, @ednakhalily and all the hosts for their incredible work. Save our State and protect Nassau County!

🚨You need to hear this.
“We don’t support Jews here.”

That comment by NYC public school teacher Meera Mangaroo demands accountability.

How would it be if she had said, “We don’t support Blacks here,” “We don’t support Hispanics here,” or “We don’t support Asians here”?

Hatred against Jews deserves the same outrage—and the same action.

“But since it’s the Jewish community, it seems people are silent. But not us.”

Join IMPACT and @EndJewHatred tomorrow for Teachers and Students Speak Out. Stand with Jewish students and educators. Demand safe classrooms and accountability.
