Oohhh, Develop, how has it been one month already? (And I’m only just now posting the few photos I have! 😂)
It was bloody glorious as always, wasn’t it?

I had so much fun with y’all. Always sad to have it come to an end, but my liver is grateful for the pause from the neverending socials! 😂

Thanks for the random chats and drinks and little side events, and to everyone in charge of keeping the whole thing going. It is immense and such a brilliant thing to be a part of in our gaming community year after year.

Stay in touch so I don’t have to wait another year to see you, yeah?! 😘

What an event!!! 🎮🍽

📢 FEAST OF THE DEVS PHOTOGRAPHY HAS DROPPED! 📢

FORMAT Group's first ever Southern event took place this July at @developconference...and what a response it was.

🙌Over 500 attendees, 700 people on our reserve list, top tier vibes, and hundreds of games industry leaders, professionals, developers, and aspiring talent all coming together for an unforgettable evening of networking, collaboration, and community by the beach.

Over the last few months, we've been working closely with our incredible partners GG Insurance and Sussex Games to bring our first ever Develop:Brighton Fringe event, and our first event in the South of England, to life.

Full venue takeover of @tempestbrighton. Incredible networking. @themexicanmooseofficial keeping the energy high all night. And a room full of people passionate about making the UK games industry stronger together.

🤝At FORMAT Group, our mission has always been to create spaces where people can genuinely connect. Whether you're an industry veteran, an indie developer, a student, or just starting your journey, we're proud to provide an inclusive, welcoming, and high energy environment where meaningful conversations and lasting relationships can be built.

The atmosphere was absolutely electric as we took over Tempest Bar until the early hours, celebrating everything that makes the UK games industry such an incredible community.

🧡A huge thank you to our amazing sponsors and partners who helped make this event possible, and to every single person who came along and made the night what it was.

Brighton...we'll see you again next year! ⏳

What a week! 🎉

We're still excited from an incredible week at @developconference, where we raised an amazing £9,880 through our charity tombola stand and even sold out of every single prize we brought along!

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by and took a chance. From a PlayStation VR headset and games to a giant Pokémon LEGO set, it was fantastic to see so many people getting involved and walking away with some incredible prizes.

Events like this simply wouldn't be possible without the amazing people who give up their time to help. A massive thank you to Polly Ord for being there throughout the entire week and supporting us across all of our events.

We'd also like to give a special shout-out to Amelia, Sara Veal, Dominic Shaw, JP and Eoghan for all your help; we couldn't have done it without you. And Andy Lane for always providing us with the space and supporting us every year!

Thank you again to everyone who supported us throughout the week. We already can't wait to be back next year, and we'll be making sure it's even bigger and better!

What an amazing week in Brighton! Met up with old friends, made a bunch of new ones, lost our voices, got to know so many cool projects and got amazing feedback on our work. 🎧🎮🎸 Wrapped it all up with breakfast in town alongside the friendliest bunch of devs 🥞☕️Truly an awesome conference. See you all next year!! #developbrighton #gamedev #gameaudio #gamecomposer #interactivemusic

Last week the Factory Immersive team swapped the studio for the seafront and headed down to Develop:Brighton 🎮🌊

Soaking up the talks, wandering the expo floor, and swapping notes with fellow game audio folk is always good for the creative batteries.

New ideas, new faces and new projects to talk about, but always the same obsession with how sound shapes an experience. Already looking forward to next year!

We were at @developconference for most of last week, the UKs biggest conference for the game development community which just happens to be 5 minutes down the road from us!

We met a tonne of cool people from all across the industry, played demos for some really awesome games currently in development (and had a few people play Barrow and Blade), attended some really interesting talks, and got very sunburnt 🙃 All in all we had an absolutely great time, and can’t wait to do it all again next year.

This week we’re back to work on Barrow and Blade, getting a build ready for our first round of playtests! If you’re interested in playtesting the game then join our discord (link in bio) to stay up to date when applications open!
