Survived stomach bug 🎉

I mentioned on my stories already that I was sick the past few days and even though I basically slept all day, the few hours in between were really boring... All I could do was watch netflix, but nothing too exciting because I had a headache and also I fell asleep constantly, so then having to rewatch things is inconvenient 😤

Anyways! Back alive, so I can finally post stuff here again (and go back to worrying what to publish on youtube instead of just publishing SOMETHING, someone kick me pls) 😊

New sprint, new luck 🎯

we start our work sprint/weekly review and new tasks on Thursdays, so today we defined the goals for the week and it looks like I will be teaching myself how to apply a sensible time series forecast within 5 days 😶

It would be nice if my brain didn't decide this week will be the one where my imposter syndrome and self-doubt is at an all time high, but hey - we don't get to choose here 😅

Wish me luck 🙈

Happy new year everyone! ✨🎆🎊

I hear this year it's apparently frowned upon to celebrate last year's wins and plan this year's goals? (at least I read a tweet that went something like "good morning to everyone except those making new year's resolutions") 😶

Look, I get it. Feeling pressured into "needing" to change is never fun. But setting goals and reflecting doesn't have to feel bad 😌

For me, setting new goals is about hope and believing in myself. Not stressing myself out to reach those no matter what comes my way (sometimes that happens, but that's not the intention)

Last year I wanted to blog weekly. Did I do that? Hell no 😂 But I did publish 18 blog posts in 2021 vs 1 blog post in 2020, so I'm very proud of that. I also published 7 youtube videos. That was not on my radar in January AT ALL. Like, I would have laughed in your face if you told me I would have a youtube channel at the end of the year.

So what am I doing this year? Who knows 🤷 What would I like to do though?

Still blog weekly 😁 I'm not giving up on that one. Also ideally I would like to publish one youtube video every week, but that's not particularly realistic, so I would be happy with one every two weeks ☺️

To reach that, I'm eyeing a daily writing habit 🤔 I'm not committing to that yet, but I think it would be good way to keep in touch with my thoughts and stop thinking "oh I have nothing to film anyways, I need to read more"

Of course, I also set a reading goal of 24 books again (mostly fiction, before y'all ask me about tech books again 😅 I have interests outside of tech, believe it or not)

Weekly workouts would be a beautiful thing as well. Now that I have a car, i can actually drive myself to the tracks/park 🏃‍♀️ In the past I either work out only once a month or 13 times a month. Balance is not really my thing, but workouts simply work best if done regularly, I don't make the physical rules sadly 🙃

Any of you setting any new goals? Let me know, let's get some hype going 😉

Also I recommend the book Atomic Habits for anyone wondering how to get started with new habits 😊
