We got a break from the rain. So nice to see some beautiful blue skies. The rains will come back soon. When September ends we’re off to Chile!

At Rocas de Amancio, the Pacific doesn’t simply crash against the coast—it explodes across ancient volcanic rock and transforms into dozens of cascading waterfalls.

Just outside Dominicalito, Costa Rica, powerful ocean swells surge into the rugged formations, sending water high into the air before it pours back through countless channels, crevices, and ledges. With every new wave, the landscape changes.

It’s a mesmerizing collision of ocean power and volcanic geology—raw, unpredictable, and impossible to look away from.

This video captures one of the most dramatic stretches of coastline near Dominical and Dominicalito, Costa Rica.

Most buyers in Costa Rica see the finished property, not the work it took to make the land truly usable.
This short shows part of that process — clearing, terracing, irrigation, and establishing productive outdoor space.
At Casa Árbol de Vida, that phase has already been completed.
Located in Platanillo de Barú above Dominical, this 4-bedroom property combines completed home, usable land, and real infrastructure designed for full-time living.

The Great Green Macaw and Scarlet Macaw are stunning creatures. The colors of their plumage is so eye catching! Which bird is your favorite?

#keelbilledtoucan I enjoy the look of these creatures. They remind me of the breakfast cereal Fruit Loops Toucan. I remember as a kid eating Fruit Loops and staring at the Toucan on the box. #wildlifephotos #natgeoyourshot #ilovenature #ecotour #costaricabirds

25 October 2025 We rode the Circuito Chico in the counter clockwise generation as the majority of the points of interest are later in the ride. Better to get the climbing done at first then enjoy the sights to help you make it through. We rented our bikes from circuitochicoadventure dot com

Here's some of my favorite photos taken while visiting Patagonia, Argentina. There were too many great photos of the different vistas that it's much easier to share in a reel.

Last week we did our big hike to Fitz Roy. We were so lucky to have awesome weather. The timing worked out well for us as we had clear views of the peak for most of our trek. I'm so grateful that after having major surgery back in early July, that I was able to complete our planned hike! Here's a video highlighting our day

Here's a highlight reel of our visit to Perito Moreno Glacier. Instead of posting individual photos I put together some of my favorite compositions. It truely was a one of a kind experience that @lydiadeven and I will always remember!
