They landed alone but they’re not leaving alone. 🪂

Cohort 1.1, four weeks in Brisbane.

bank accounts. tax file numbers. mount coot-tha at sunrise. handing resumes to managers with shaking hands. figuring out which bus. finding the one spot on campus you keep going back to.

We’re so grateful to have the privilege to witness their growth and their life starting here in Aus ☀️

A week after we finished, every single one who wrote back said they’d want to come back and mentor the next group 💗

Our mentors, Devendera and Mitali, you carried this.
And to the seven of you — we’re so proud ⭐️

Cohort 2, Feb 2027 waitlist in bio! Don’t miss out :)

@newishcommunications thank you for this amazing collaboration!

your first week, completely sorted 🪂

Cohort 1.1’s Week 1 Guide is here. Inside: where to go, what to skip, how to make friends, and a grocery list that’ll actually keep you alive (and full). 🛒

O-Week is a lot. So we turned it into a game. Do the quests, join the societies, eat real food, call home. Classes start next week, so this is your week to just arrive properly and enjoy it.

You’re not doing this alone. We’ve got you. 💙

Special shoutout to our amazing mentors who keep this going and show up everyday for our students! 💗⭐️ @devendera_dhingia @m.ital_i

Landed Thursday. Running the city by Saturday. 🪂
Cohort 1.1 completed their first Amazing Race today:
📲SIM cards
✅Go Cards
🚌the 412
🎓Campus tour
💗welcome lunch

Two days ago they were saying goodbye at Delhi airport. Today they planned their own routes, bought their own SIMs, and figured out Brisbane together — with their mentors right there, guiding, not solving.

This is what landing soft looks like.

Two more of our crew touch down Wednesday. Someone’s waiting for you too. 🧡

Arrive. Connect. Navigate.
