Took my girl out for a spin 💜

After all the cutting, piecing, fitting and figuring-it-out, my upcycled men’s shirt three-piece finally made her official debut — and I have to say… she showed up.

A bustier, skirt and overlay, all created from men’s shirts that were ready for a completely different life. This lavender look was one of those projects that started with an idea and turned into something I couldn’t wait to actually WEAR.

And the @curioexperience Summer Fashion Social at @wolfandcompanychicago was the perfect place to take her out for the first time. Great fashion, great energy, lots of selfies, and even better people. 💜

Because the best part of making the clothes is getting to live in them.
