“Vamos lá!” #tbt❤ to this BEAUTIFUL show @sofarsoundsrj in the one and only Rio de Janeiro! This was such an amazing evening. I had to shake the nerves off after my first ever interview in Portuguese @canalriff and head down to @ubcmusica for this show. It was a full house with incredible musicians @negamanda.c @jonathanferr_oficial @pedromannbr @facbasss @federicopuppi thank you to everyone who attended, for singing along, for the heart to heart convos and the kindness you showed me. Much love from Toronto
Muito obrigada @degabra por organizar e @deviante por me conectar com este evento maravilhoso

A little flashback to this cozy room playing “Get Me” @sofarsaopaulo sending lots of love to all of my Brazilian friends and collaborators right now in this crazy time. You are all beautiful and strong people. Can’t wait to reunite with you again in the future. Full link in bio. Filmed/produced by @artsy_club @marqaudiovisual @flowcreativecore
Thanks to @deviante for setting up this wonderful experience. To @soligirls for their design work and their friendship. To @jota.peoficial and @leticiapersiles for spending a warm evening with us. Much love ❤️

I’ve been hibernating a bit since I got back to Canada. There has been a lot to process from the tour in Brazil and also the entirety of 2019. It was truly a transformative year, filled with writing new songs, stepping into new challenges, creating art with friends and releasing it to the world, experiencing heartache and joy and everything in between, making a commitment to myself and my music, receiving tons of love and support from friends and fans, collaborating with incredible musicians. I tend to push hard and do everything at once. I’m looking forward to this year with a bit more patience, doing things well and with enough space to fully enjoy the process. Thank you to everyone who has enriched my life, supported my music, and created with me. In particular I’d like to thank everyone in Brazil for being so incredibly warm and inviting. This image by @izacordeiroart acts as a beautiful summary of 2019 and an indication of what’s to come in 2020. Excited to make and share more music with you this year 🎸❤️🤘🏼

Uma piscina para chamar de sua. 🏊🏻‍♀️
.
