Faith. Family. Fun.

LSU has taught me a lot about these things, and even more about myself. This journey has come with its highs and lows, but the weight of the moment confirms that it all was worth it. I can finally say that I’m proud of myself. This was for the home team.

Thank you, Lord. Special shoutout to @branbranbee

i chose to come to LSU not knowing anyone or really anything about the south. it was a big step outside my comfort zone but it was one i wanted to make.

4 years later i’m leaving with lifelong friends, countless memories and a degree. i can say without a doubt i made the right choice.

thank you to everyone that made it special.

still crazy it’s over but onto the next ✌🏼

It was amazing to be given the blessing of spending the week with Dr. Bankston and the LSU family.
Dr. Bankston serves as the head orthopedic team physician for LSU Athletics and the New Orleans Saints. It was an honor to learn from him in the clinic and operating room. One of the best things I experienced and was able to actively practice while working with him was the art of bedside manner. Dr. Bankston is one of the kindest physicians I’ve worked with and always puts the patients best interest first. It was great to hear how being a D-1 swimmer helped mold him into the physician and person he is today. “Stagnant is not where you need to be. You need to be willing to be challenged and grow.” - Dr. Bankston

I was also honored to be welcomed by the LSU basketball and football programs this week. It was a pleasure to meet and spend time with the Director of LSU Sports Medicine, athletic trainers, and soak in one-on-one time with the athletes. The facilities, resources, and most importantly the great care the athletes receive was eye-opening and has inspired me to provide that level of care and relationship for athletes some day! I’m excited to return to LSU to work with these great people in the near future.

You never know where God will take you in this life. Shoutout to my friend, Brother Floyd who taught me the most important lesson - to always trust God.
