Happy World Photography Day to the homies 🎉 📸

Picking up a still camera was the best decision I'd ever made, and one of my favorite things about doing concert photography over the last couple years has been getting to learn from so many talented individuals — I've been extremely lucky to have made friends with a lot of the people listed here, but at the end of the day, I'm genuinely a fan of the work that all of these folks do + am inspired by it every day. Learning photography has been a huge process + I have so many of these people to thank for all the things they've taught me and all the questions they've answered for me, (they know who they are 😂)

This doesn't even scratch the surface of all the lovely people I've been able to befriend/get familiar with thanks to the world of music photography — it would take a hundred posts to name all the names, but just know that I'm grateful for all the photographers I've gotten to shoot with + learn from 🙏

Anyway here are a few of my favorite shots from just a small handful of my favorite photographers in no particular order + if you aren't following any of them, DO IT NOW 😤:

finally home and rested so here’s a proper tour photo dump of really cool shots other people took and really bad photos i took

i can’t thank @officialkittie enough for taking us on this tour and both kittie & @kingdomofgiants & crew for being some of the nicest folks we’ve ever toured with. Massive thanks to @jazzharris_ for crushing FOH for us and @ghostpicss jumping in midway to help out on the merch/media front. And extremely grateful to all the creatives who came out to capture media for us. What a wonderful experience this was and I miss everyone already. Europe/UK next 🖤

Signed a lease on my first drum studio, endorsed by my favorite cymbal company, played shows all over the country for different artists! Take a moment to admire my playback/IEM rig in its fly-rack state 🍜 Luna’s face at the end is how I feel rn❤️

More shows this month & tour coming up soon with @maybenotsafeband & my dawg @madkelly running drums & MD 🤖

Another tour over and done in the blink of an eye - and once again I missed the group tour photo 😭💀🤣
This was the first long scale tour I had done in a little while. I’ve been almost 2 years living in LA now working my ass off, building a new life, pursuing opportunities, keeping my hopes up high and my head down low (iykyk) and this feels like the fruits of a lot of labors but also just the beginning of the life I’ve always wanted.
•
I am tired and excited to get back home for a bit - but mostly feeling so grateful. I am grateful to do what I do playing drums and bringing original music to people all over the world, grateful to @pinkishnoise for trusting me to sit on the throne and steer the musical ship each night, grateful to @garrettlowerymusic being excellent to share the stage with and being a great hang, grateful to @noahtanneraudio for being an awesome tour manager, source of “old man”😜 wisdom and humor, and making us sound fantastic every show (even with possibly excessive snare bombs 💣😜), grateful to @kaitlyn.snaps for making me look good in pics, grateful to @karloff_rupe getting us everywhere safely, and finally grateful to @magnoliapark for having us on your tour, being a very inclusive+welcoming and gracious headliner band and crew, and @sillygooseatl for being absolute homies❤️ Biggest thanks of course goes to the people who came to all these shows and listened, said a kind word, and spread the word about good new music… you are our lifeblood. Thank you so much❤️
•
I go rest for a bit, but I’m already looking forward to the next one tbh… 😈 See y’all soon 🤘
