Last year I had a goal of running @runvictoriamarathon for a bucket list check, one half marathon to say that I did it.

When I began looking for training groups, I couldn’t find anywhere that I felt safe to be a real beginner. To be slow, and run without pressure not to be. So I created @oceansideslowrunclub and my life changed.

I found true JOY in running. I found lifelong friends. I found community that deeply cares for one another.

And that one bucket list race turned into 7 races in 12 months.

I am eternally thankful for everything running has given me, but most of all I am thankful for the people it has brought into my life.

Happy Thanksgiving, and happy Medal Monday! Each of these medals represents so many things to be thankful for, because it is so much more than a run. 🤍

Devil's Ladder Ultra photos are now live. 🤘

I had a blast chasing runners around this rugged and vast course in the Cumberland community forest last weekend. Stoked to have hit Upper Queso for the 50km runners, with some break in the clouds too. As well as some of the Trent River Canyon trail, but legs were definitely feeling it after this shoot!

So much emotion and scenery on show. This race is a great one.
