I am home! It was so great to step onto the yard and hear the band practicing! Being their with my field mom Febe who mentored me at the School of Social work and my godson @monsieurwatersource. Seeing my sweet Miss Freshman @devin.baileyy The awards ceremony! Meeting some pioneers in the gay community made me so excited to be an ally! The Lavender reception at Blackburn was a time! Today we have the student fashion show https://events.howard.edu/event/copy-of-homecoming-student-fashion-show-homecoming-2025 and the ice cream social but I can’t find the link @tootufftonysalano and grits and gravy

And just like that… campaigning is officially DONE 💗✨

From the first flyer, to every table, conversation, event, late night, laugh, and new connection — this experience has meant so much more to me than I could’ve imagined. I’m so grateful to everyone who stopped by, showed love, supported me, helped behind the scenes, or simply took the time to hear what Bison Barbie: Dream Big, Lead Confidently is all about.

No matter what happens next, I’m proud of myself for stepping outside of my comfort zone, showing up fully, and giving this campaign everything I had. 🥹💕

Dream It. Build It. Be It.
Forever grateful for this chapter. 💗✨

For those who missed my pageant, this was one of the most personal parts of my story. 💗

My sister Ryan attended Howard in 2020, but passed away from epilepsy at just 18. Being at Howard now reminds me to never take this opportunity, this community, or this journey for granted.

That is a huge part of why my platform, Bison Barbie: Dream Big, Lead Confidently — Dream It. Build It. Be It., means so much to me.

To me, Miss Freshman is more than a crown, a title, or a pageant. It is an opportunity to serve, uplift, and remind my fellow Bison that our dreams deserve to be pursued while we have the chance. I want to use this platform to encourage freshmen to believe in themselves, step confidently into every room, and make the most of their time at Howard.

For Ryan, and for the Class of 2030. 🕊️💗
