Reynosa, here we come! 🇲🇽 Early this morning, our team hit the road, ready to serve families in need on our annual mission trip. This trip is always an incredible season of fellowship, laughter, and sharing God’s love. We are so grateful for the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing hope to a hurting world. Prayers for safe travel and for God’s will to be done this week are greatly appreciated! 🙏🏼✨

This past week in Reynosa, Mexico was filled with joy, intentional service, and a Christ centered community that reflected His love so beautifully. I saw God move in ways that reminded me just how present and personal He truly is.

We spent some time studying Galatians, and one verse that really stuck with me was Galatians 4:9 “But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless elementary principles of the world, whose slaves you want to be once more?”

This verse captures the heart of the Gospel. It isn’t about earning God’s approval through works or returning to old ways and patterns of performance, but about the life changing reality that we are fully known by God and still loved by Him. Paul is reminding us not to return to the things that once held us captive, but to walk in the freedom and identity we’ve been given through Christ. To be known by God is to be seen, chosen, and adopted, not because of what we’ve done, but because of who He is. That truth brought so much peace this week, and it’s something I’ll carry with me.
