And officially… the second round of auditions is DONE! 🎬✨

With 100+ resumes and so many incredibly talented people, this was honestly one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make.

A huge thank you to @naty_kuzco 🇨🇦and Vasia Bresta B 🇬🇷for all your help with the emails and the entire process, even from miles away. ❤️

I genuinely saw so many amazing talents. Some of you brought completely unexpected sides of the characters to life and showed me things I had never even imagined when writing them. That was truly special. 🎭✨

Congratulations to everyone who has been selected! 🎉 The official announcements will be sent out over the next few days.

And to everyone who auditioned but was not selected for this particular project: please don’t see it as the end of the road. Many of you gave me ideas and perspectives that I absolutely want to explore in future projects.

I’m certain that I will have the opportunity to work with many of you in the future. ❤️

Thank you all for your time, your trust, and for sharing your talent with me.

Stay tuned… beautiful things are coming. 🎬✨❤️

I’m truly happy to announce that on November 29 at 1:00 PM, we will come together at the historic Graham Cinema in North Carolina to celebrate the journey of these six short films. 🎬✨

Our films are coming back to North Carolina — the place where they were created.

After traveling across five continents and reaching audiences around the world, these films are returning to where their journey began.

Since none of us had the chance to be together at any of the premieres, I decided to create this celebration for all of us — a moment to come together, share our work, and celebrate the journey we have taken together.

This is not simply a screening. It is a celebration of art, cinema, and the journey behind these stories — and a heartfelt thank you to the people who supported me when I first arrived in America and encouraged me to keep creating.

It will be a special afternoon where we can enjoy the seventh art, celebrate the artists who brought these stories to life, and, most importantly, come together and meet the wonderful people who were part of this journey — both in front of and behind the camera.

🎬 SMALL STORIES, BIG SCREEN
📅 November 29, 2026
🕐 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
📍 The Historic Graham Cinema, Graham, NC
🎟️ FREE ADMISSION

A return to where the journey began.
A celebration of where it has taken us.

And behind this event is a wonderful group of people who have been working together to make this celebration possible. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be introducing and highlighting the people behind the event, the films, and this incredible journey.

Stay tuned — there is so much more to come. 🎬❤️✨

Last week we were invited to do listening sessions and production on our documentary focused on gun violence prevention in Asheville, NC and learned more about the blacksmiths at Raw Tools South and their incredible work alongside military Veterans and their families. More than half of the 48,000 deaths from gun violence each year are by suicide, and the blacksmiths at Raw Tools South provide safe storage and the surrender of firearms when someone is a threat to themselves or to others. These safe surrender events and storage save lives by removing firearms in moments of crisis or domestic violence. Raw Tools South also works with Veterans’ families to melt down and transform the firearm into something new — creating essential space for families to take those next steps in healing through community. This will be an important chapter in our upcoming film. Photos by Michelle and David

“Living Paintings – Figures of Ancient Greek Mythology”
Chapter: Hera

I will never forget how many submissions I received for this project—111 résumés! 🤯✨

I already have some people in mind for Part 2, although I have absolutely no idea when I’ll be able to make it! 😅🎬

This was one of the most challenging films I’ve ever created. I was in a new country, without knowing many people, and yet somehow we made it happen. 🇺🇸🇬🇷💪

A short film with 30 actors across the United States and Greece! 🎭🌍

I am incredibly proud of both my cast and my crew, and of the final result we achieved together. ❤️✨

I can’t wait for the next projects and adventures ahead! 🚀🎬

P.S. Don’t be afraid to take the first step toward your dream, whatever it may be. 🌟 If you start, you’ll find a way to make it happen along the journey. 💫❤️
