📍Bradford ~ A Creative Bundle

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

When GoodGym paired Maya with a mentor in Bradford, nobody expected the name on the email to be one she already knew.

Maya is a marketing apprentice with a longstanding interest in community work. Now part of GoodGym's Future Leader programme, she led her first session and has been creating content to educate and inspire more people like her to get involved.

What Maya didn't know was that her mentor would turn out to be Lucy - her old RE teacher from secondary school! For Maya, the coincidence made everything easier. "It's kind of nice to have that connection again," she says, "and the same mindset of helping out in the community."

"The creativity that goes into those reels and that ability to communicate with young people... I think we'll make a great team, because I know how to lead a group of young people, but Maya will bring a load of skills to the table that I just don't have." - Lucy
