His first tattoo is a full sleeve. Here’s how to do it the right way.
Four sessions. Back to back. One complete design.
Jas didn’t start small. He came in with a vision for a full sleeve and trusted us to plan the whole thing before the first line went in. Every piece was designed to flow into the next, from the shoulder to the wrist, so it reads as one story instead of a collection of separate tattoos.
Doing it back to back matters. The piece stays consistent, the flow stays connected, and it heals as one cohesive sleeve. No gaps, no patchwork, no guessing where the next piece goes.
A first tattoo like this is built on trust. Jas showed up every session and let Devon do what he does best. These are the projects we love! Collaborating with our clients, hearing their stories, and creating a one of one piece you cannot find anywhere else.
Thinking about your first sleeve? Comment SLEEVE and we’ll help you plan it the right way.

Two sessions for the outer arm. One more for the inside. Three days, back to back.”
Samurai, oni mask, dragon, koi fighting upstream past a pagoda, this whole sleeve is one continuous story from shoulder to wrist. Devon didn’t just tattoo separate images and connect them, he built a composition where every piece leads into the next, scale, contrast, and flow all working together the same way it would in a full Japanese bodysuit.
Three back to back days in the chair, zero gaps between sessions. That kind of pace only works when the artist already knows exactly where every line is going before the machine touches skin.
If you’ve been sitting on an idea this big, comment SLEEVE and we’ll show you how to start planning yours. Artist // @devinkz

POV you finally commit to the full sleeve instead of one piece at a time.

Two sessions down. Two more to go for the full sleeve.

Comment if you’re building toward something like this.
